If you hurry, you can get this beautiful Secret Angel dress right now at Sn@tch for the holiday VIP group gift. There is a cost to join the group but it's so worth it as everyone knows Ivey lavishes her fans with gifts and discounts, in addition to tempting us with weekly new releases. Go on... snatch it up!
Also for the snatching... the Winter Berries necklace and bracelet from Chop Zuey, along with at least a dozen other beautiful holiday jewelry gifts for both men and women. Wow... the generosity that designers share with us during the holidays never ceases to amaze me.
The wings. Ah, the wings. Well they are an old time throw back from the earlier days of Second Life.. and well, they kind of work don't you think? Prim wings, created by Obunnywan Manimal.
Wherever you are this holiday season, I hope you're staying bright, keeping warm, and having fun!
Muah! Boudi loves you

This lovely Holly Dress by Bilo is a limited edition design for the holiday, found only during the month of December. So hurry to get it! It comes in several colors and styles. As soon as I tried slipped into it, I knew just the perfect shoes and hurried over to SLink for the glittery peeptoe heels I had seen earlier.
My search for the perfect necklace took far too long and had me all over the grid, but eventually found and fell in love with the Lotus necklace by Mandala. I love how a few of the petals have fallen from the central design.
In a virtual world, you're always free to change and have the virtual freedom to explore the the art of self-expression. Today I'd like to share with you a complete avatar offered by *Stars*Fashion* for only 99L on the Marketplace for just a week. What an amazing deal! If you've been wanting to try out a new look, you can find the lovely Louise complete avatar, including shape, skin, brow, eyes, lashes, and makeups all for only 99L if you hurry.
I'm also wearing the beautiful new giraffe mesh dress by Chandelle and love the soft texture and fun print. Stay tuned for the next blog where I'll share this same avatar and dress but give it a completely new vintage flavor by using accessories found at Vintage Fair. It's amazing what a simple change here and there can do for a whole look.
In the second pic I got the bright idea to try on my Jolie sculpted prim hands by SLink and really love how smooth and lovely and graceful they are. You can color change the nail color, and choose silver/gold or no ring. These beautiful Paper Butterflies by Baffle! can be found at the Vintage Fair, and wow I just love the feeling I have when I hold the bottle, setting them free. My heart flies away with them!
Sometimes I do my best work when I'm supposed to be sleeping... unlike other people who do amazing things all the time. I'm talking about the new Cassiopea skin by Aida Ewing of Glam Affair, and (wow!) this is a gorgeous skin!
She's a darker shade than I normally would wear, but being half asleep I bought the wrong one, and now that I have her, I'm absolutely in love with her.
The rest of my ensemble was gathered together mostly at Collabor88, so hurry over while they've still got the current collection, or you'll miss out on some great deals!
Feeling like a goddess, I went in search of a beautiful and surreal place to take pictures in and found the Mysterious Wave art installation.
The perfect music for this set... please have a listen, and enjoy! Oceanlab - Sirens of the Sea
Take my hand, take my hand, yeah take my hand
Follow me, follow me, yeah let's go
To the sand, to the sand the purest sand
Into the sea, into the sea, yeah let's go...
Out beyond the water's edge
Far across the coral ledge
Underneath the diamond dancing lights...
Chase the world from far below
Silent sleeping indigo
Drifting down into the endless night...
I can not resist your call...
Today I wanted to just log in quick and share a few things, but I got swept away in the moment. It's something that Sea and Sky and Sand always do to me... even in a virtual world.
Sending a big thank you out to Strawberry Singh for her PicMonkey tip, without which these pictures wouldn't have nearly as much awesomesauce. Wow what a big difference a few clicks can make! Thank you Strawberry!
I'm wearing the alluringly simple Whitehaven Beach Dress by Kyoot, found at Collabor88. It's such a lovely dress and is partial mesh, so that means it only has the skirt area in mesh, which is really great! No invisible underside, and no worrying if my shape will fit the dress. A perfect blending of two worlds.
I must admit, while at Collabor88 this go around, there were so many fabulous things, I bought the place out. Sadly, I don't have time to blog them all today because I'm packing for a week of vacation in my own personal paradise! Also shown here from Collabor88, the Shells & Pearls set by Earthstones. Answering the call of glowing beachy skin, this new Group Gift from MyDear was just the thing I needed to feel ready to hit the sands.
This sea inspired look was perfectly complimented by the new Sea of Love mesh hair by Exile, found right now at the Hair Fair. Yes ladies... it really is worth the lag! I couldn't get to his booth on Hair Fair - Sand, so I started waaaaay at the other end in Hair Fair - Garden and slogged my way there, barefoot and bald, pounding on three full sim border crossings before I was granted entrance. It took me a half hour, but I wanted this hair so bad.... it's so utterly perfect!
You feel it... I know you do... the Sea is Calling... Calling You......
It's been a long week and I'm dying for a party to go to this Friday! Alexohol has this fun little mesh dress called Party Gras, shown here in red and black with silvery sequins. I love Alexohol and I love that they are making some fabulous mesh things now!
On another note, while I'm a huge fan of Mesh and love this dress from Alexohol on the outside, I'm not sure yet how I feel about dresses that leave the body invisible underneath. Kicking up my heels at a party might be a less than photogenic opportunity, but it's a great dress for more static poses.
Wearing the dress alpha leaves your body under the dress completely invisible, so if you were to, look up my skirt for instance, you'd see hollow all the way up into my floating eyeballs and hair. Kinda disconcerting... Not that anyone would be looking up my skirt, right? I know I have a few dresses where the designers created a mesh bottom to them higher up inside the skirt, that both hides the alpha problem and looks a little more normal. Hopefully more designers will start making skirts and shorts with this thought in mind. As Avatars, we don't want to look like just hollow pixels. Part of the joy of Mesh is that it can achieve a higher state of realism... which is then ruined by the alpha hollow person syndrome beneath if anyone looks a little closer.
My love affair for Mesh brought me back to LeLutka today, where I found this gorgeous Jolie Mesh hair. It's a style that I wear in real life more, and a pretty close match to my own length and color. As mesh moves with your body, it's the perfect style for dancing, since it won't poke through your body at odd angles, or stick out stiffly when you move. All that would make it better is a bit of flex here and there, just a few tendrils of movement, but this style is so well crafted it gives the illusion of movement, and I really am delighted with it.
Today, I'm joining the 52 weeks of Color Challenge by Luna Jubilee, on week 24, featuring Raspberry Glace. It's about time I tried one of these...
Getting my raspberry dream on with the stunningly crafted Isabella gown by Evie's Closet and Imperial Rose Lace Jewelry by G Field.
Photo backdrop is the Tulla Photography Studio by Taya Muscari found on the Marketplace, which I just love. It is a lovely rather roomy unfurnished skybox with seating and studio area and three color box rooms for taking your photographs.
Hey gang I'm not going to be on this weekend, but I just had to share again how much I love the Matilda's Getaway cottage I bought at the Home Expo! Here's a few pics and just a real quick cut and paste about where to find them. I hope the pictures are worth a thousand words! Smallest house I ever bought... but just so perfect for summertime relaxing!
Tonight I managed to get happily whisked away to go dancing with a very handsome man. *swoon*
Just a friend, mind you, but oh what a delight to actually spend the evening having fun, listening to music, and dancing the night away.
We couldn't have found a more perfectly dreamy place than the Amorosa Ballroom, and if you're looking for a beautiful experience in a formal fairytale castle, Amorosa is well worth a visit.
I'm wearing Utopia's Frida gown (previously blogged here), and just love how smoothly it flows. Perfect for a romantic evening out dancing, and you may find your cares floating away as the soft wisps of silk swirl around you. The gown comes with multiple top options and accessories of which I chose only the necklace and gloves.
Jake is wearing the incredible Modern-Black-Open Suit by Lapoint & Bastchild, Radiant Midnight hair by LAQ, LaVie Mark skin: Goatie2 Eyeliner Cut Hairbase, and 380 Outlander Mesh Boots.
My hair is Lelutka Daisy mesh hair (blogged here), and skin is Ludicia in Tan by Filthy that I've blogged before (here), but just couldn't help wearing again. I really love Filthy skins and the detail and workmanship that went into creating these. Eyes are Mayfly Liquid Light Mesh eyes.
Sometimes it's too easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of life events and let things drag you down and it's times like tonight I cherish. The beautiful surroundings, great music, and the hand of a friend pulling me onto the dance floor and reminding me it's okay to let go sometimes. Thank you Jake, I had a lovely time.
Enchanted, Boudica Destiny

I've been in a redecorating mood, working on terraforming and rearranging my property for the new lodge and deckhouse, and all that work has made me hungry! While setting the table for breakfast, Atlante Guerrero of Stars Fashion sent me this sweet little Hibiscus outfit with shoes! I just love it.... thank you Atlante! It was the perfect compliment to the Good Morning breakfast table and chairs set from Bazar. The Hibiscus set is a hybrid mesh outfit which combines dress, bra, and pant on system clothes layers, but has a mesh skirt in multiple sizes worn over that, and sculpted prim belt to top off the look.
The Hibiscus shoes are a high-heeled clog in white with wooden soles, and little hibiscus flowers on them. So sweet! In Mera's blog just a few days ago she was showing some fabulous Swedish Clogs you can get for free , as well as a link to find some beautiful clogs in real life. I'm going to have to do that, and thanks for the tip Mera!
Here's a tip back for you... that pretty little breakfast table and chairs can be found for just 1L$ at the Bazar furniture store. It comes covered in a plain tablecloth you can click to have breakfast magically appear! Great for busy bloggers... or virtual horse breeders... *winks*
Isn't this a lovely little place? While wandering in a daze around the Dreamseeker Home Expo looking for a new house for my little lot, I fell in love with the Matilda's Getaway cottage by Funky Junk. It's a small getaway cottage 8x15 meters and 69 prims (unfurnished) that I decided to plunk down on the deck at the base of my property, right on the water, and I'm so thrilled with it. While I bought the unfurnished model, there is a furnished version as well. A single room, attached to an open air vine covered patio with a California style outdoor fireplace (shown in this blog post). The texturing is beautiful with lovely details that make this little getaway so enchanting.
From my little Secret Summer getaway... cheers, and happy shopping! Boudica Destiny

Sitting in the flickering shadows by the fire, wearing the Velour Stars lingerie dress and boots from from Atlante Guerrero of StarsFashion.
The set includes a lacy babydoll top with frilly lace skirt in either solid black, or black and red as shown here. The Glamorous Mouth Cherry is a fun little something from Beauty Code and the Cherry Necklace is from [glow studio].
I'm wearing the beautiful mesh Daisy Hair in Nutcracker by Lelutka, and my skin is Lea Cream - Red Wine from .ploom. found at the My Attic May sales event at The Deck. My laptop is a prop built into the Christmas Sofa furniture I found for free at the Bazar furniture mainstore. There are some other very nicely made dollarbies in the foyer of this shop, including a Lounge Sofa, and a Good Morning bistro table set that rezzes breakfast on demand, so be sure to drop by Bazar and pick up a few nice things for your home.
XOXO, Boudica

I knew once an angel, Felt you in my tears... Wash away my deepest sorrow, Wash away my fears.
Oh the doves are crying now, The sky has fallen down. My love I couldn't save you, Didn't see you falling down.
Every morning sun is rising, In the shadows of my heart. Every day sweet love, I feel you... There's an angel in my heart.
Waxing poetic today in the lovely Stella cocktail dress by G Field complete with matching hair adornment. I admit, I went a bit crazy at the G Field Red and White sale, with 50% off on all items of those colors found in the store. But when I saw the Rose Lace Jewelry, also at G Field... sale or not... I had to have it! My shopping partner was a bit aghast at my shopping flurry and quoted me as being "high as a kite". Perhaps she's right... you can get high on shopping right? I certainly was!
The skin... a truly beautiful and generous gift from Al Vulo, Nana in soul of angel milk. I love the feathery detailing over the eye. Join the Al Vulo group and hurry over to find this latest group gift.
While searching for the perfect place to highlight the dreamlike qualities of this look, I stumbled on a landmark to "Arctica Dreams", an art installation by artist Rebeca Bashly running until January 11th. Hope you enjoy! Take some time to visit this breathtaking exhibition and help support art in virtual worlds.
Happy New Year! Boudica Destiny
